In Spanish, as well as in English, Hogar literally means ‘children’s home’ but, includes the meaning of a ‘home’. We call ourselves ‘home’, meaning both a family home and a native homeland, as we want the children here with us to feel the warmth, peace, joy and love…to feel, that this here is and can be their ‘home’ and their family who loves them, thinks of them and wants to accompany them growing up as schoolchildren and as children – as friends and a family who give and receive love and attention.
